Jalandhar April 7 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under DISHA – An Initiative by the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Innocent Hearts School celebrated World Health Day with great enthusiasm across all its five branches—Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt-Jandiala Road, and Kapurthala Road. The event was organized by the Sports and Wellness Club with the aim of promoting awareness about health, hygiene, and overall well-being among students.

A variety of engaging and educational activities were conducted for different classes. For students of Grades I and II, the activity titled “Healthy Me, Happy Me” focused on the importance of cleanliness, hygiene, and water conservation. Students of Grades III and IV attended an awareness session on nutritious food, guided by the Health and Wellness Club.

For Grade V students, a PowerPoint presentation was shown to highlight the significance of healthy eating habits and maintaining a balanced diet. Students of Grades VI and VII participated in a Fit India Yogalates Session, which emphasized the importance of staying fit, strong, and stress-free through a combination of yoga and pranayama. For Grade VIII students, the Creative Strokes Club and Linguistic Club organized Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competitions. Students expressed their ideas on health and wellness creatively through art and impactful slogans.

Additionally, members of the Innovation Club held a discussion on how lifestyle choices affect students, focusing on stress, screen time, and the importance of a balanced diet. A special assembly was also conducted, where students were encouraged to adopt a responsible and healthy lifestyle. The celebration successfully instilled awareness and inspired students to prioritize their physical and mental well-being.
