Jalandhar October 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has again won the GNDU Inter College Overall Championship Trophy 2024-25. With pride and honour, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told that the college has won 19 Gold Medals in Badminton, Shooting Rifle, Shooting Pistol, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Fencing, Archery, Karate, Boxing, Kho-Kho, Athletics, Wrestling, Judo, Handball, Wushu, Gymnastic (F), Gymnastic (A), Track Cycling, Cricket.
HMV won 6 Silver Medals in Taekwando, Rughby, Weight Lifting, Rowing, Canoeing, Cycling and 01 Bronze Model. HMV also won Shaheed Bhagat Singh Trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- from University. The Sports department faculty members and players were honoured during morning assembly. The whole college danced to the tunes of Dhol and celebrated the moment. Dr. Sareen said that trophy is the result of hard work and efforts of sports faculty and players. On this occasion Mrs. Ramandeep, Ms. Pragati and Ms. Gurminder Kaur were also present.
