Won 1st prize in India in Reel Making Competition
Jalandhar September 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Deepa Pardhan, student of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won 1st prize in India in National Contest 2024 of Instagram Reel Making Competition organized by UGC in context of Anti Ragging Week. Deepa Pardhan is a student of B.Voc Journalism and Media Sem V. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated her and told that UGC organized various national level competitions during Anti Ragging Week. HMV participated in Instragram Reel Making Competition and uploaded it as per instructions. This reel was prepared by Deepa and her team.
Team members were Seema, Reena, Damanpreet, Seher, Mehak, Anjali, Anjani, Diksha. These students prepared 60 Second Reel through which they spread social and legal awareness against ragging. Anti ragging incharge HMV Mrs. Binoo Gupta told that there were 3290 participants in this competition and HMV stood in 23 finalists. Finally, HMV won 1st prize in India level. Head of department Dr. Rama Sharma told that it is quite evident from this award that there is lot of creativity in our students.
On this occasion, members of Anti Ragging Committee Dr. Navroop, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Dr. Shalu Batra, Mrs. Deepshikha, Mrs. Shefali, Dr. Rakhi, Dr. Meenu Talwar, Dr. Deepti Dhir, Secretary Anti Ragging cell Ms. Dilpreet Kaur and Joint Secretary Ms. Vibhuti were also present.
