Jalandhar April 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- One day educational trip was organised by the PG Department of Mathematics for the students of B.A/B.Sc and M.Sc (Mathematics) to visit Panjab University, Chandigarh under DBT star scheme of colleges under the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs) Ekta Khosla. The contingent of 32 students was led by three faculty members Dr. Gagandeep, Dr. Deepali and Dr. Gaurav. It was a knowledgeable trip where the students got the opportunity to learn in an educative and conducive environment.
They visited the A.C Joshi Central Library at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Students visited journal section which was containing different and latest journals and magazines. After collecting all rare and valuable information, students headed towards Mathematics Department of the University. They visited departmental library of Mathematics which was completely occupied with pure and applied Mathematics books.
Students got opportunity to interact Associate Prof. Dr. Dilbagh Singh Kahlon of Mathematics department and collected information according to their relevant field of interest from sir. They also visited Mathematics department. The trip was a fruitful and memorable experience of their lives. Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla congratulated Mathematics department for this visit and said that such visits are very much helpful for the students to enhance their knowledge and vision.
