Sneh Auditorium

Jalandhar October 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar proudly announced the inauguration of its newly renovated Sneh Auditorium, formerly known as Ragini Auditorium in a ceremony graced by faculty, students and distinguished guests. The renovation marks a significant milestone in the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance its academic and cultural infrastructure. The state-of-the-art Sneh Auditorium now features advanced sound and lighting systems, modern seating arrangements and improved acoustics, making it an ideal venue for seminars, cultural programmes and institutional events.

The auditorium has been renamed Sneh Auditorium in loving memory of Mrs. Sneh Lata Sharma the revered mother of Sh. Sudhir Sharma, philanthropist, whose generous contribution and support made the renovation possible. The name reflects warmth, affection and the nurturing spirit that aligns with the institutions values. Speaking at the event Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sh. Sudhir and his family for their benevolent gesture. She said the Sneh Auditorium is not just a renovated space it symbolize love, dedication and the enduring bond between generations who believe in the power of education and culture.

Sh. Sudhir Sharma shared his sentiments stating “This dedication to my mother Mrs. Sneh Lata Sharma, is a tribute to her values of compassion and learning. I am honoured to see her legacy continue through this institution that empowers young women.” The event concluded with a cultural performance by the college’s performing arts students, on this occasion Chairman LAC Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud and Sh. Kundan Lal Aggarwal was also present. The atmosphere was filled with pride and gratitude as HMV celebrated yet another chapter in its illustrious history.
