HMV honoured with the Water Sustainability Award 2025-26 by the National EduTrust of India

Water Sustainability Award

Jalandhar March 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the visionary leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, the institution continues to inspire with its commitment to a greener, more sustainable future. On this World Water Day – 22nd March 2025, we are thrilled to announce that Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar has been honored with the Water Sustainability Award 2025-26 by the National EduTrust of India. This prestigious recognition celebrates the college’s outstanding contribution to Water Management through its Best Action Research Plan: Best Out of Waste Water. Their remarkable efforts in sustainable water conservation have set a benchmark for environmental stewardship.

In a special ceremony, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen honored Nodal Officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia for her dedication and contributions. The occasion was graced by distinguished guests from Nehru Arts and Science College, Tamil Nadu, who are visiting HMV under the Student Exchange Programme. A heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Samarth Sharma, CEO of the National EduTrust of India, for this esteemed recognition. Congratulations to the entire HMV family for this incredible achievement.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Dr. Anjana Bhatia thanked President DAVCMC Padamshree Dr. Punam Suri, Director Higher Education DAVCMC, Sh. Shiv Raman Gaur, IAS (Retd.), Chairman Local Advisory Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud and all the members of DAVCMC. She also dedicated this award to the faculty and non-teaching staff of this college. On this occasion, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Dr. Rama Sharma, Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Dr. Shailendra were also present.
