With this remarkable recognition, HMV proudly stands at No. 1 in Punjab and No. 7 in India a testament to its cutting-edge, career-focused and innovative skill development initiatives.
The institution was especially lauded for its transformative and future-ready educational programmes, which are shaping empowered, confident and competent young women. The distinguished Grand Jury, comprising eminent educationists and thought leaders, selected HMV from among numerous prestigious entries across the country for this coveted honour. Project Coordinator Dr. Anjana Bhatia highlighted that the award was based on HMV’s pioneering skill development projects, with a special focus on women empowerment and inclusive outreach for skill enhancement among marginalized sections.
The grand award ceremony, held in New Delhi, celebrated the achievements of India’s most outstanding higher education institutions. On receiving the honour, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen expressed heartfelt gratitude to the mentors at DAVCMC, New Delhi and extended warm congratulations to the dedicated faculty, diligent staff, spirited students and supportive stakeholders.
