HMV Faculty Member Delivered a Keynote Talk During the 9th International Symposium on Bioinformatics-2025 at the University of Doha for Science & Technology

Jalandhar December 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Dr. Harpreet Singh, Head PG Department of Bioinformatics, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar visited Doha, Qatar as a keynote speaker during the 9th International Symposium on Bioinformatics-2025 (InSyB2025) conducted by the University of Doha for Science & Technology (UDST), Doha, Qatar from 25-26 November, 2025 in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNET) Society and the Centre for Clinical Precision Medicine and Genomics, Hamad Medical Corporation.

As the President of the APBioNET Society, Dr. Harpreet Singh highlighted his research work related to drug discovery to develop novel drugs against Malaria parasites using the drug repurposing strategy. Dr. Harpreet Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the DAV College Managing Committee, the Local Advisory Committee, and Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla for their constant support, motivation and guidance which made it possible for Dr. Harpreet Singh to represent Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on such a big platform.

Dr. Harpreet Singh also expressed his sincere thanks to the organizing committee of the InSyB2025 and APBioNET leadership, especially UDST President Dr. Salem Al Naemi, UDST Vice President of Academics, Dr. Rachid Benlamri, Dean College of Computing & IT Dr. Zakaria Maamar; and Co-Dean Dr. Asif. M. Khan for giving him this excellent opportunity. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla congratulated Dr. Harpreet Singh for this achievement and bringing this honor for the institute. Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, IQAC Coordinator and Dean Innovations and Research Dr. Anjana Bhatia were also present.
