Jalandhar March 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- C.V. Raman Science Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated “ECO-CARE” under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. On this occasion, Environmental Awareness was created among the students by organizing Poster Presentation & Slogan Writing competitions in which students from various classes of entire college participated enthusiastically. The theme of the event was Bio Energy, Conservation of Environment, Exploring Ecology and Biodiversity and Waste Management. About 75 students participated with great interest and enthusiasm in both the competitions.
In Poster & Slogan Presentation, Ankika of B.F.A Sem II got 1st prize, Rabia of B.F.A Sem II bagged 2nd position and Lavanya and Khushi of B.Sc Sem II got third position in Slogan making, Consolation prize was given to Navreen Kaur of B.Sc (Bio Tech) Sem VI.

In Poster Making Competition, Reeva Sharma and Nandini of B.F.A Sem VI bagged first and second position respectively. Shiwani of B.A Sem IV got third position and consolation prize was given to Bharti of B.Sc (C.Sci.) Sem II. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Science Department and also encouraged students to work in the field of Science and Environment.
Dr Sakshi and Dr. Shuchi acted as event in charges of Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competitions respectively. Mrs. Saloni Sharma (Incharge, C.V. Raman Society) & Mrs. Deepshikha (Dean, Sciences) informed about the objective of Eco Care event. They both congratulated all prize winners and participants. Dr. Seema Marwaha, Head of Zoology Department, Dr. Jatinder, Head of Biotech Department and Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Head of Design Department acted as judge for Poster Competition. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Head of Botany Department and Dr. Harpreet Singh Head of Bioinformatics Department acted as judge for Slogan Competition. All the members of science department were also present on this occasion.
