Jalandhar April 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, has always showcased outstanding achievements in sports at international, national, and university levels, bringing immense pride to the institution. HMV sportspersons have represented India on prestigious international platforms. To carry forward this rich sporting tradition, the college is organizing Sports Trials for the session 2026–27 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla.
Trials for college section will be conducted on April 25, 2026, for a wide range of games including Archery (Compound & Recurve), Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Judo, Fencing, Wrestling, Shooting, Wushu, Taekwondo, Boxing, Kho-Kho, Rugby, Gymnastics (R,A) Cycling (T,R), Karate, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Silat, Softball, Kabaddi, Water Sports, and Swimming. The school-level trials will be conducted on April 24, 2026, for games such as Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Judo, Wrestling, Karate, Badminton, and Football, providing young aspirants a platform to step into the world of competitive sports.

She further added that special incentives, including fee concessions, are offered to outstanding sportspersons based on their achievements.
