Jalandhar May 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is constantly striving for the all-round development of its students. This vision has inculcated good values and enhanced the skills of the students which further has resulted in their growth in different fields and their serving spirit towards society. Moreover, they are also serving in different positions in the country and abroad. Due to such achievements, they have brought name and fame to the college which is a matter of proud for all associated with college. The college is equally proud of its alumni Gursharan Singh Buttar, who is working as General Manager at My Radio 580 in Edmonton, Canada.

Upon his arrival at the College, the Joint Secretary of the College Governing Council S. Jaspal Singh Waraich and Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh welcomed him. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that we are always proud of our students, when they visit the college with significant achievements in the country as well as at abroad. He informed that Mr. Buttar was a student of the college during 1978-79. On this occasion, Mr. Gursharan Singh Buttar reminisced about his student life and shared his experiences of migration and talked about the working style of My Radio Canada. On this occasion, he specially thanked the College Management and Principal.
