Jalandhar September 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the visionary leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, continues to inspire students with initiatives that combine education and social responsibility. As part of the college’s ongoing efforts to inculcate moral values, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) launched the initiative Care @HMV on the foundation day of the college. This initiative focuses on providing food to the needy every month, with different departments participating in the effort. Commerce Department, in collaboration with the Student Council, led the charge in preparing and distributing food to those in need.

Around 250 food rolls were distributed outside the college. The event was graced by the presence of IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Head of the Commerce Department Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Dean of Student Council Dr. Urvashi Mishra, along with faculty members and students. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen praised the efforts of the students, noting that such noble causes bring real happiness by spreading smiles and making a positive impact on the lives of others. She emphasized that HMV remains committed not only to academic excellence but also to fostering empathy and compassion among its students.
