Eco Club of Apeejay College of Fine Arts visited Chandigarh

Jalandhar February 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Eco Club of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar with the courtesy of Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change organized a visit of students at Rose Festival in Chandigarh.

Citing the importance of this visit, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that making youth sensitive towards environment is the need of the hour, and Colleges certainly has a vital role to play in it. Attaining this goal can certainly does wonders when it comes to environmental protection and preservation.

Other than enjoying the nature and variety of species of roses in Rose garden, students also spent time at other popular sites of Chandigarh – Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh.

50 students of Eco Club went to Rose Festival under the guidance of Ms. Chetna Sharma, Ms. Rachita Jain and Mr. Amandeep Singh.

Dr. Dhingra admired the efforts of Ms. Simkee Dev, Dean, Eco Club for organizing this visit and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
