Jalandhar December 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under Disha-an Initiative, run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, Annual Sports Prize Distribution Function was organised to honour the District Level achievers and winners of inter-house tournaments of the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Nurpur and Kapurthala Road).
At the beginning of the programme, students presented aerobics, power yoga and performances to encourage the students. Deputy Director – Sports, Mr. Rajeev Paliwal informed everyone about the continuous efforts being made by Bowry Memorial Trust in the field of sports that the promotion of sports is the need of the hour and their proper guidance for social awareness and all-round development of the young generation is required.
To make the students more proficient in the field of sports, Innocent Hearts Sports Hub has been created at Innocent Hearts Fields, Loharan Campus where an International Standard Shooting Range, (Anti-injury Surfacing), Basketball Court, Soccer Table, Air Hockey Table, Self Defence, Yoga with Meditation Zone with qualified and trained coaches have been appointed to learn these sports. During the award ceremony, Director – CSR, Dr. Palak Gupta Bowry congratulated the awardees and motivated them to go ahead in future.
