Jalandhar December 17 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Department of Home Science of PCM SD Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Women, Jalandhar organized Cooking Competition for the students of XI and XII.
Students took avid participation and prepared mouth watering dishes like grilled sandwiches, pasta, dora cakes and dhokla.
The sumptuous dishes were presented creatively. In this competition Manmeet of XII class got first prize, second prize was bagged by Kritika of XI Arts and Anita of XII Arts made it to third prize.
Mrs. Manmeet Kaur,Head of Department of Home Science and School Incharge Mrs Sushma Sharma declared the results and congratulated the students. They also encouraged the students to participate in such competitions. Mrs Neetu, Mrs . Monica and Mrs Ruhi were also present there.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof.(Dr) Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts of the department for successfully organising these events which remind us that cooking is not just about food—it’s about creativity, culture, and connection.
