Jalandhar September 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- DAV University Jalandhar was conferred with the prestigious ‘Education Excellence Award 2025’ by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The University was awarded in two prominent categories:
• Outstanding Contribution to Industry-Academic Collaboration
• Leading University in Research & Innovation
The awards were presented by Dr. Abhay Sinha (Director General, SEPC) and Ms. Alison Barrett (MBE, Director India)at the SEPC 2nd International Conference on Transforming Higher Education & Skilling towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047 & Education Excellence Awards 2025, held on September 19, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The event witnessed the participation of eminent Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, Directors, Principals, Academicians, Stakeholders, officials from Government and Private Institutions, Edtech, start-ups, and faculties.
This national-level recognition highlights DAV University’s consistent efforts in bridging the gap between academia and industry by offering industry-integrated programmes, hands-on learning, and professional training to students. The University has also been at the forefront of path-breaking research & innovation, encouraging faculty and students to work on innovative projects that address real-world challenges.
