Jalandhar June 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is known for all-round development of its students. Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar has made high achievements in the field of education as well as cultural and sports. In order to connect the students with sports, a football summer coaching camp has been organized at the college from 26th June to 2nd July 2024, in which more than 40 players from the region are participating. S. Ajwant Singh Bal attended the opening ceremony of this summer camp as the chief guest while S. Inderjit Singh President DFA, Mr. Manmohan Singh, Mr. Sukhi Mann, Mr. Dilbagh Rai, Mr. Vijay Vaish, Mr. Balwinder Kumar and Mr. Harvinder Singh joined as special guests.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh welcomed the chief guests, special guests and football players and congratulated the players participating in this camp. Dr. Rashpal Singh, Dean Sports informed that our student sportsmen come first in the sports competitions of Guru Nanak Dev University and they have achieved high positions at international and university level. Under the coaching of football coach Mr. Dhanwant Kumar and Mr. Varundeep, this camp is running very successfully at Lyallpur Khalsa College.
He said that this summer coaching camp has been organized at the college with the purpose of making football more popular, develop sportsmanship and skills among the students. He said that the players should complete their summer camp successfully and make a valuable contribution in the future in the field of sports. Mr. Amrit Lal Saini and Mr. Jagdish Singh were also present on this occasion.
