Jalandhar February 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The 2022-23 edition of the college magazine of Lyallpur Khalsa College ‘The Beas’ was launched today. In a brief function held in the college office the College Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh launched the latest edition. Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President Governing Council congratulated the principal, editorial board and students of the college while releasing the magazine. Speaking on the occasion the Principal said that the magazine was an effort to bring out the latent creative abilities of the students and it included creative writings by them in three languages. He congratulated the magazine editorial board on this achievement.
On this occasion, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Prof. Jaswinder Kaur said that ‘Beas’ was divided into nine sections and high-quality works of student writers related to each section were included in the magazine.
On this occasion Prof. Jasreen Kaur Vice Principal, Prof. Navdeep Kaur, College Registrar, Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Head Commerce Department and co-editors of various sections of the magazine, including Dr. Gagandeep Kaur (Physical and Life Sciences Section), Prof. Balraj Kaur (English Section), Dr. Jaswant Kaur (Physiotherapy Department), Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand (Computer Section), Prof. Ravneet Bains (Commerce Section), Dr. Jaswinder Kaur (EVS and Social Sciences Section), Dr. Surinder Pal Mand (Punjabi Section), Dr. Harjinder Singh Sekhon (Divinity Section) and Dr. Bhavana (Hindi Section) and other teachers and students were present.
