Jalandhar March 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Interior Design at Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised an educational visit to Lovely Marbles & Sanitation with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to materials used in interior decoration.A total of 35 students participated in the visit.
During the visit, students were introduced to a wide range of materials, including marble, granite, tiles, sanitary ware, modular kitchens, and other modern finishing materials. The session enabled students to understand the application, selection, and relevance of these materials in contemporary interior design. It also offered insights into emerging trends and innovations in the field.
A key highlight of the visit was the interaction with industry experts, who gave students valuable hands on knowledge about the latest techniques and practices used in interior decoration.
Principal, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, appreciated the initiative, stating that such educational visits bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, helping students connect more deeply with their subject. She reiterated that the college remains committed to organising such activities for the holistic development of students.
She also commended the efforts of Ms. Rajni Kumar and Ms. Harshita Arora for successfully organising the visit.
