Jalandhar December 19 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar continuously strive for excellence in every field, bringing honour to the institution. In this regard, Harmehar Singh Lali, a 5th-semester Bachelor of Design student, enhanced the prestige of the college by winning medals at the 68th National Shooting Championship Competition (Shotgun) held in New Delhi from 13 December to 17 December.
He secured a Gold medal in Skeet Shooting Individual Junior Team Men, a Bronze medal in Skeet Shooting Individual Men, and, while leading the Punjab team, won a Gold medal in Skeet Shooting Junior Men Team, along with a Bronze medal in Skeet Mixed Team Junior. By winning these medals, he not only brought pride to the college but also made his parents proud.
Congratulating Harmehar Singh on his remarkable achievements, Dr. Neerja Dhingra said, “We have always been proud of him and wish that he continues to excel in skeet shooting, achieves higher ranks, and brings glory to our nation at the global level.” She also appreciated the efforts of Mr. Sahil Mahey of Department of Physical Education for guiding him.
