Jalandhar December 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized Capacity Building Programme on a very trendy and relevant topic – Creating Google Scholar Id. Dr. Jagmohan Mago, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and IT acted as Resource Person.
Addressing the faculty members, Dr. Mago discussed about the Research work and the impact of it on the quality teaching. He aquainted them with the step by step directions of making a Google Scholar Id. He also discussed the terms- H index, I10 index and Citation. He further added that making Google Scholar id is very convenient for there are options to add the papers presented and published, books published and also the articles written by one in their field of expertise.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views said, “Apeejay College always encourage its faculty membees to conduct the Research work, so that they stay in touch with latest trends that are prevalent in their respective fields in today’s time. Keeping this in the mind, the college organizes Capacity Building Programmes and Faculty Development Programmes. Research work is an essential task in the field of teaching and it certainly enhances one’s teaching methodologies.”
Dr. Dhingra appreciated the efforts made by Dr. Mago for aquainting the faculty members with such relevant topic.
