Apeejay College of Fine Arts organized a tree plantation drive under the “One Cadet, One Plant” initiative with its NCC Unit

Jalandhar August 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, is steadfastly moving forward with the commitment to the holistic development of its students. Alongside encouraging and motivating students to participate in academic, cultural, and sports activities, the college also raises awareness about environmental conservation. In this context, the college’s NCC Unit, under the aegis of the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, conducted a tree plantation drive as part of the “One Cadet, One Plant” initiative. The students of the college participated in the drive with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated Colonel Vinod Joshi, Commanding Officer of the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, for inspiring students to take part in this initiative. She emphasized that planting more trees is the need of the hour. If we do not become vigilant about environmental conservation today, the future will certainly be challenging. She also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Neeraj Katyal and Ms. Komal and encouraged them to continue fostering a sense of social responsibility among the NCC cadets.
