Jalandhar May 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised 3 week Certificate Course in Sketch and Paint like an artist where they learnt about the elements and principles of art. In depth they enhanced their knowledge about the different techniques of painting and drawing and how to show their expression through art. The students were pretty enthusiastic about learning Portrait making and Landscape painting.
Dr Jeevan and Ms Amandeep from Department of Fine Arts taught them that every person is an artist and can create art works, they just have to find that ability in them and nurture it with the proper guidance. The faculty members also helped the students in enhancing their aesthetic sense and how they can look for beauty in their surroundings and day to day life and create art. They learnt the 2D and 3D pencil shadings and learnt about how to draw the precise face expressions.
All the students attended these classes regularly and enthusiastically. They were very happy and in few days they had created many art works under the guidance of their teachers.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views on this occasion said that every student has potential and they just need to find and nurture it and here at Apeejay we make sure to unwrap the best version of students. She wished all the students best of luck for their future endeavors.
