Jalandhar April 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts recently organized a valuable opportunity for 12th-grade students with another installment of its Skill Enhancement Course, this time focusing on “Beauty and Skin Care Solutions.” Led by Ms. Meenal Sandhu from the Department of Fashion Makeover, the classes delved into the intricacies of maintaining radiant skin and luscious locks.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra underscored the dual importance of professionalism and personal grooming in today’s competitive landscape, noting that the course aimed not only to enhance external beauty but also to instill a deeper understanding of internal health.
Ms. Meenal passionately conveyed to the students that true beauty emanates from a holistic approach encompassing physical fitness, balanced nutrition, adequate sleep, and stress management. She emphasized the necessity of recognizing one’s unique skin and hair type when selecting and applying cosmetic products. Furthermore, she provided comprehensive guidance on the CTMP routine (cleansing, toning, moisturizing, protection) as well as the importance of regular hair care practices and periodic product rotation.
Throughout the sessions, students eagerly absorbed new knowledge and techniques, displaying genuine enthusiasm for the opportunity to enhance their self-care practices and overall well-being. The course served as a platform for empowerment, equipping students with invaluable skills to navigate both the professional arena and their personal lives with confidence and grace.
