Jalandhar April 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and Red Ribbon Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized anti drugs awareness rally in Dhaliwal village under the able guidance of Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Ajay Sareen. The event aimed to inform and raise awareness among people of village about the dangers of drug abuse, its effects on individuals and society, and the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Minakshi Duggal Mehta, Incharge Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Dr. Deepali, Incharge, Red Ribbon Club addressed the villagers and explained the harmful effects of consuming drugs not only for a person but for the entire community.
They urged the young individuals to stay away from such harmful substances. The students participated enthusiastically in the rally and spread the message through various posters and charts of ‘Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life’. The initiative was widely praised by local residents. The event ended with a vote of thanks to Mr. Mandeep Singh, Sarpanch of the village and Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Member Unnat Bharat Abhiyan for their cooperation and support. Principal , Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of team members and encouraged to organize more such events in future also.
