Jalandhar December 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- ‘Hindi Sahitya Dhara’ of Department of Hindi organised an Open Discussion among the students of BA and B.Ed on the topic “Acharya Ram Chandra Shukal, the creator of Hindi literary history”. During the discussion, the students compared the history of other historians, the universal recognition of the history of Acharya Ramchandra Shukal. This topic was quite interesting and knowledge enhancing. Around 30 students participated enthusiastically.
Other literary achievements of Acharya Ji were highlighted. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Parashar maintained that there is need to preserve the legacy of Hindi literature which is indispensable to India’s cultural identity and national integration. President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar commended the efforts of the department for linguistic and cultural preservation of our official language.
