Cultural Exchange Committee of PCM SD College for Women holds Poster Making Competition

Poster Making

Jalandhar April 1 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Under the scheme of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ launched by the Central Government to promote engagement amongst the people of different states, Punjab is paired with Andhra Pradesh. Under this programme, PCM S.D. College for Women Jalandhar signed an MOU with Government Model Degree College, Pathapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The paired college from Andhra Pradesh organised a Poster Making Competition.

The primary aim of the competition was to provide a platform for participants to showcase their creativity, raise awareness on a specific theme, and encourage artistic expression through the medium of posters. The program started with the brief introduction of the program by G. Srinivasarao, Coordinator of the program, Government Model Degree College, Pathapatnam. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from the students of Government Degree College who showed and explained their beautiful posters on Punjabi Culture.

Dr. Sandeep Kaur, incharge of the Cultural Exchange Committee thanked the Government Degree College authorities for the invitation. Dr. Indu Tyagi, co-incharge of the Cultural Exchange Committee also witnessed the event. The students of PCM S.D. College for Women, demonstrated artistic skills, proficiency in design techniques and explained the history of Andhra Pradesh’s Culture through their posters.

Dr. K. Sreeramulu, Principal, Government Model Degree College, Pathapatnam extended vote of thanks to the guests and participants. There were around sixty students from both institutions.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts of the Cultural Exchange Committee for successfully organizing the event.
