Jalandhar January 30 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A placement drive was organized for all the students of the college by the Department of Journalism and Communication at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar in collaboration with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, in which the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Expressing her views on this occasion, Madam Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that along with studying if students are placed at the right place according to their interest, then it is not only an inspiration but also helps them in their career. The team of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM gave various situations to the students participating in this placement drive and asked them to perform the role of an RJ. In this placement drive, Ramneesh Kaura of M.Voc Theatre, Pearl Kakadiya of B.Voc Theatre, Urvi of B.Voc E-Commerce, Angadpreet Singh from BA Journalism and Mass Communication, Karuna and Chirag from B.Com were shortlisted.

The team of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM held a discussion on related topics and examined the eloquence, fluency and sense of humor of the students. After an entire difficult process, Urvi of B.Voc E-Commerce was selected as RJ for Jalandhar and Pearl Kakadiya was selected for Chandigarh by the team of Radio Mirchi.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the selected students and wished them all the best for their new journey in life and said that they may continue to bring glory to themselves and the college by moving forward on the path of their dreams. She appreciated the efforts of Dr. Nivedita Khosla and Mr. Mohit on successfully conducting the placement drive.
