Jalandhar February 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The students of B.Voc. Contemporary of Dance of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar celebrated Spring with much joy and enthusiasm and paid homage to Maa Saraswati.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views on this occasion, said that such events are organized to keep the students connected with their culture, to develop values in them and to make them aware of the importance of festivals. She said that it is not just a festival of spring, but it is a festival of transmission of energy, beauty and nature. It is a festival of arrival of Rituraj. Celebrating this festival with the students, one truly experiences the transmission of new energy.

On this occasion, Dr. Vivek Verma sang the hymns in praises of Maa Saraswati and the students of B.Voc. Contemporary Forms of Dance worshipped their Ghunghrus and sought blessings from Maa Saraswati so that they can bring glory to themselves and the college in the field of art. Dr. Dhingra highly appreciated the efforts of Dr. Mickey Verma of P.G. Department of Dance for the successfully organizing the event.
