Jalandhar February 6 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar represented Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the North Zone Youth Festival held from 1st to 5th February, 2025 at Punjab University, Chandigarh and became victorious by bagging the overall 3rd position.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressed happiness on this great achievement and said that students of our college always strive for the best and thus with their hard work and dedication, they attain the success.
She added today we are able to witness this day for our Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul had seen a vision a long time ago with the motto to preserve and promote the art and culture. This rich legacy is being continued by Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia (Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group; Chairman, Apeejay Education, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University)

Dr. Neerja Dhingra also expressed her gratitude for Dr. Amandeep Singh, Incharge, Youth Welfare, GNDU who after testing the talent of the students, provided them this golden opportunity to go ahead and performed in North Zone Festival.
Dr. Amita Mishra (Dean, Youth Festival) said that our college had participated in maximum items and gave the excellent performances and thus, Guru Nanak Dev University won the overall trophy in Fine Arts, 2nd position in Music and Dance. Also, Guru Nanak Dev University bagged second place in Cultural Procession.
Dr. Dhingra also shared the results of North Zone Festival. She shared that Apeejayites won the first position in Rangoli, Western Group Song, Mimicry, Clay Modeling, Classical Percussion and Mime, second position in Group Dance, third position in Western Solo, Classical Dance, fourth position in Folk Orchestra, Skit, Quiz and One Act Play.
Dr. Dhingra congratulated all the winners and encouraged them to keep up with the good work in the National Youth Festival. She acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Arun Mishra, Cultural Coordinator of the college and Dr. Amita Mishra and Dr. Micky Verma and wished them luck for National Youth Festival.
