Jalandhar September 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Rotaract Club of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, marked a significant milestone with its Installation Ceremony, ushering in a new chapter of leadership, service and youthful enterprise. The ceremony brought together the spirit of Rotary Club and the enthusiasm of young Rotaractors, reiterating the Club’s commitment to cultivating responsible leadership and meaningful community engagement.
The august presence of Rtn. Tarsem Singh, President, Rtn. Harbinder Singh, Secretary, Rtn. Dr. S.P.S. Grover, Past District Governor and Chief Club Advisor, Rtn. Chetan Kapoor, Treasurer, and Rtn. Er. Kuldip Singh, members of Rotary Club, Jalandhar West, added distinction to the occasion. Their presence and interaction with the students served as an inspiring reminder of the values of service, fellowship and leadership that form the foundation of the Rotaract movement.

The new office bearers were entrusted with the responsibility of steering the Club towards purposeful initiatives and active community participation. Romal of B.A. B.Ed. Semester V was appointed President of the Rotaract Club, while Kavya of B.A. Semester V assumed the office of Secretary. Their induction marked the beginning of a promising tenure, with the newly appointed leaders poised to translate youthful energy into constructive action.
The ceremony reflected the institution’s sustained endeavour to provide students with platforms that nurture leadership beyond the classroom and encourage them to engage meaningfully with society.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar extended their encouragement to the Club, its Incharges, Mrs Kawaljit Kaur and Mrs Seema Tiwari and congratulated the newly appointed office bearers, wishing them a purposeful and impactful tenure ahead. Ms Shalini Bibra, Mrs Shikha Puri, Dr. Anju Bala and Ms Amisha Tandon were also present during the event. Stage was successfully handled by Dr. Aabroo Sharma.
