Jalandhar September 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Cosmetology of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, under the insightful guidance of the principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, organized one-day workshop on “Hair Treatments and Styling” with full of zeal and gusto to provide students practical exposure to the latest developments in the professional hair and beauty industry. Mr. Tushar Bansal, an International Hair Expert, was the chief guest for the occasion who shared his valuable expertise, professional experience, and industry-oriented knowledge with students.
The main endeavor of the workshop was to enhance the practical competencies of students and familiarizing them with contemporary hair-care techniques, professional products, tools, and salon practices. Mr. Bansal demonstrated the appropriate use of various professional tools and hair-care products and explained how their selection and application should be adapted to different hair types and conditions. During the workshop, students received detailed guidance on advanced hair treatments, including Nano Glow Treatment, Bond Plax Treatment, and Amino Acids Treatment.

He also emphasized the importance of selecting suitable products and techniques based on individual hair conditions. The workshop featured an engaging Question-and-Answer Session, during which students actively interacted with the resource person and raised queries regarding hair treatments, styling methods, product selection, and salon practices. The interaction enabled them to gain practical insights and industry knowledge beyond the conventional classroom environment. The students participated enthusiastically and greatly benefited from the demonstrations and expert guidance.
The Principal Dr. Khosla appreciated the efforts of the PG Department of Cosmetology for organizing such skill-oriented initiatives and encouraged students to actively participate in similar programmes to enhance their professional capabilities. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Mukti Arora, HOD, PG Department of Cosmetology, who expressed her sincere appreciation to Mr. Tushar Bansal for sharing his expertise and contributing to the success of the workshop.
