Jalandhar August 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a MY Bharat Outreach Programme and Intensive Registration Drive in collaboration with Regional Directorate of NSS, Chandigarh to create awareness among students about the MY Bharat Portal and the various opportunities available to young people through the initiative.

The programme was organised by the NSS Team with the objective of encouraging students to actively participate in nation-building activities, volunteerism, experiential learning, skill development and various youth engagement programmes.
The programme featured an informative and engaging interaction with Mr. Ankush Nijhawan, Young Professional, Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Regional Directorate of NSS, Chandigarh. He apprised the students of the vision and objectives of MY Bharat and encouraged them to register on the portal and make meaningful use of the opportunities offered through it.

Students were guided regarding the registration process, and an on-the-spot registration drive was conducted to facilitate their participation in MY Bharat initiatives.
The event provided students with an excellent platform to learn about various avenues for volunteering, experiential learning, skill development and youth leadership.
The programme was conducted successfully by the NSS Team, whose members made all the necessary arrangements and facilitated the smooth conduct of the outreach and registration drive.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the NSS Team for organising the programme successfully and appreciated their commitment towards providing students with meaningful opportunities for youth engagement and nation-building.
