Jalandhar August 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Girls, Jalandhar organised its much-awaited Fresher’s Party, “NAVODAYA 2026,” to extend a heartfelt welcome to the newly admitted SSC-I students. The event was conducted under the inspiring guidance of Principal, Dr. Pooja Prashar, whose gracious presence and encouraging words set a warm and celebratory tone for the occasion.
The programme commenced with a cordial welcome, followed by an array of vibrant cultural performances, interactive games, and entertaining activities that created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and camaraderie. The event provided the newcomers with an opportunity to showcase their confidence, creativity, and individuality while fostering meaningful connections with their peers and teachers.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the much-anticipated Modeling round, where students were recognised for their distinctive qualities and talents.
Manasvi was crowned Ms. Fresher, while Kashish received the title of Ms. Elegant, and Kumakshi was honoured as Ms. Gorgeous. Among the special titles, Mansirat was adjudged Best Hairstyle, Harshita received the Best Dressed award, Palak was recognised for Best Accessory, Mehak earned the title of Best Smile, and Hasrat was honoured with the Best Make-up award.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Pooja Prasher congratulated the award recipients and encouraged all students to embrace the new academic journey with confidence, dedication, and a spirit of excellence.
