Jalandhar July 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar marked the commencement of the new academic session with a sacred Havan ceremony to invoke divine blessings for the newly admitted students. Faculty members offered samidha into the holy fire and prayed for the students’ bright future, success, and well-being.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that inspired by the vision of the institution’s Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, and under the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, Apeejay Education, and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, along with the guidance of Dr. Neha Berlia, Lead – Education Vertical, Apeejay Education, and Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, the college has achieved remarkable success across diverse fields.
Dr. Dhingra congratulated the students on choosing Apeejay College of Fine Arts for their higher education and stated that they had taken a significant step towards a promising future. She highlighted that nearly 70% of the college faculty comprises highly qualified Ph.D. holders with more than two decades of teaching experience. She further emphasized that the institution provides students with abundant opportunities to excel not only in academics but also in sports, music, dance, fine arts, applied arts, and multimedia by participating in competitions at the district, state, national, and international levels, ensuring their holistic personality development.
The programme concluded with Dr. Dhingra and the faculty showering flower petals on the newly admitted students, extending their heartfelt blessings and wishing them a joyful, enriching, and memorable journey, setting the tone for a year filled with growth, creativity, and academic excellence at Apeejay College of Fine Arts.
