Jalandhar April 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Multimedia Club of the PG Department of Multimedia, in collaboration with the HMV Skilled Course Hub, successfully concluded a 30-hour Short Term Value Added Certificate Course titled “Web Applications – Major Project.” The course offered hands-on training in modern web development, guiding students through the complete lifecycle of website creation. It focused on transforming ideas into real-world web applications, covering responsive interface design, frontend-backend-database integration, and portfolio-ready project development.
Students who actively participated in the course included Jaskarandeep Kaur, Prabhmeet Kaur, Bhavya, Vanshika, Vaishnavi, Janjot Kaur, and Nusrat Fatima. The program enhanced their skills in responsive web design, full-stack development, and secure coding practices. The course was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla. It was coordinated by Mrs. Binoo Gupta, with Mr. Ashish Chadha, Head of the Multimedia Department, serving as Course In-charge.
The sessions were delivered by Ms. Heena Dhir, Assistant Professor, Multimedia Department. Such initiatives by the institution continue to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, equipping students with practical expertise and professional competencies.
