Jalandhar February 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A graceful and emotionally resonant farewell ceremony was organized at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, to mark the superannuation of two of its esteemed faculty members — Dr. Sunit Kaur from the Department of English and Dr. Anupam Sood from the Department of Music (Instrumental).
The ceremony featured meaningful cultural presentations, including a Sitar recital by Dr. Sumit from Department of Instrumental, a vocal performance by Ms Sarvpriya and Deepali from Department of Music Vocal, and a thoughtfully curated dance presentation by Ms. Amrit, Ms. Amandeep, Ms. Tanya. Ms. Jasleen, Ms. Niharika and Ms. Harpreet. Each performance added a touch of grace and emotional depth to the occasion, celebrating the invaluable contribution of the retiring professors. A formal citation reading and presentation of tokens of appreciation were also held in their honour.
Dr. Navjot Deol from the Department of English and Dr. Seema Sharma from the Department of Music Instrumental spoke in honour of Dr. Sunit Kaur and Dr. Anupam Sood respectively.
