Jalandhar February 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a one-day workshop under the Indian Knowledge System initiative with the support and guidance of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla and in collaboration with ‘Utkarsh Mind Pune’. The esteemed guests Dr. Srikant Kalukar, Former Principal, Atharva College of Engineering and Dr. Anand Prakash, NICMAR University Pune were accorded a green welcome on the occasion. The workshop focused on Vedic traditions, character building, and personality development models.
Referring to Swami Dayanand Saraswati’s vision and the establishment of Arya Samaj in 1875, Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Convener of the workshop, emphasized the importance of reviving Vedic traditions and integrating spiritual wisdom with modern life. She stated that the Vedas symbolize India’s ancient intellectual heritage and serve as a guiding force in shaping students’ personality, lifestyle, and professional conduct.

He explained that self-control and self-reflection are essential for achieving the ultimate goals of life. Dr. Anand Prakash introduced the concept of relationship skills to promote meaningful discussions, clarity of thought, and holistic personality development.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mamta, Dean Vedic Studies referred to Swami Dayanand’s call of “Back to the Vedas” and underlined the richness of the Indian knowledge tradition.An MOU was signed with Utkarsh Mind.
The workshop was graced by Dr. Shveta Chauhan, Mr. Pardeep Mehta, Dr. Rama Sharma, Mr. Gullagong, Dr. Ravinder Mohan Jindal, Dr. Gagandeep, Mr. Ashish Chadha, Dr. Sakhi Verma, Dr. Meenu Talwar, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal Mehta, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, and Dr. Vandna Thakur. The stage was handled by Dr. Kajal Puri.
The event concluded on a positive note, with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jyoti Gogia leaving participants inspired to imbibe human values and integrate traditional wisdom with contemporary practices.
