Jalandhar December 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Girls, Jalandhar organized an Educational and Recreational trip to Sukhna Lake and the Rock Garden, Chandigarh, for its students.
The trip was accompanied by Mrs Monika Sharma, Mrs Ruhi and Ms Shalu who ensured proper guidance and supervision throughout the excursion.
At Sukhna Lake, students enjoyed the scenic beauty and learned about the importance of environmental conservation and maintaining ecological balance. The calm surroundings provided a refreshing break from routine academic activities.
The visit to the Rock Garden left the students fascinated by the unique sculptures made from industrial and household waste. The teachers highlighted the creative vision of Nek Chand and conveyed the message of recycling and sustainable use of resources.
The trip proved to be both informative and enjoyable. Students returned with cherished memories, new learning experiences, and a greater appreciation for nature, creativity, and responsible living.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the School Incharge, Mrs Sushma Sharma and the teachers for organising such trips.
