Lyallpur Khalsa College clinched the GNDU Inter-College Tennis Championship

Jalandhar October 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar clinched the Guru Nanak Dev University Inter-College Tennis Championship, held from 3–5 October at Model Town Tennis Academy, Jalandhar, defeating DAV Amritsar in the semifinals and APJ Jalandhar in a commanding final to lift the title, with standout performances by Ishan Bhagat, Radhey Mohan, Ribhav Sharma, Harjai Singh, and Sarthak Gulati under Coach Sukhdeep Singh; the tournament proceedings were overseen by Pradeep Kumar, GNDU official in-charge.

Congratulating the students, Principal Dr. Suman Chopra said, “This outstanding win reflects our students’ dedication and the college’s emphasis on holistic excellence; I congratulate our students, Coach Sukhdeep Singh, HOD Prof. Simranjit Singh, Prof. Ajay Kumar, Prof. Manvir, and the Department of Physical Education & Sports, and wish the entire team the very best for the upcoming inter-college tournaments of other sports.”
